Here we are (again!) at the centenary celebrations for the Richmond Hall!




Cygnet Folk Festival January 2008
Here we are again at Cygnet. Saturday afternoon we presented our “Fowl Critters” concert to a standing-room only crowd in Carmel Hall. The music we played featured many critters:, mules, rabbits, jay birds, hens, pigs … Geoff provided the fabulous mule banner!




Despite the patchy Sunday morning weather, we took ourselves and our animals to the park .






We had a great time and expect to be at Cygnet again next year!
Bush dance to aid the Huon Environment Centre
Saturday September 15, Sandfly Hall: We provided the music for a bush dance to aid the Huon Environment Centre.


The band entertained guests at Brookfield Winery, Margate
On Friday 17 August about 15 members of the band entertained guests at Brookfield Winery, Margate.

Phenomenal 4 x 75 birthday party
On 21 July we played the music and called the dancing at a phenomenal 4 x 75 birthday party. In between times we feasted on spit roasts and salads.

Simple Folk festival at Koonya
The HOT String Band and lots of friends helped out by providing music and dance calling at the Simple Folk festival at Koonya on the scenic Tasman Peninsula.


Strung Out Festival at Longford
On April Fools Day we helped out at the Strung Out Festival at Longford. This was part of the prestigious “10 Days on the Island” festival so we wore our best clothes. We even played in front of the Governor!




Bream Creek, one of Tasmania’s iconic country shows
On 17 March we played at Bream Creek, one of Tasmania’s iconic country shows. As usual, we stole the show!
